meta-idea

While the saying goes “Misfortunes never come singly”, the same thing luckily applies to other things as well. When coming up with ideas for various different things – being ways to crunch a coding problem, how to make sense of a plot line or something entirely different, it happens that once I get an idea, they just start rolling.

I wonder how that works though. My best theory is that the subconsciousness builds up energy (I was close to writing “regenerating mana”, but that would be a tad to geeky – right?), and when an idea suddenly pops up, the brain goes all haywire and spends the stockpiled energy on making the ideas good, and tossing out more.

However – it’s just an idea.

About Gnub

The one and only Virtual Wildebeest. Normally known by the name of Emil Erik Hansen, but just as often seen online in the shape of Gnub. Not to fear - they're quite alike.
